Ashworthy Cattery is a registered business in England and is committed to keeping your data safe and secure and handling it appropriately within the guidelines of the global data protection regulations. This policy explains how we may collect information about you and then use it in order to satisfy your booking or service requirements. It also outlines the security measures we take in order to protect your privacy and gives assurances on things that we will not do.
What information do we collect about you?
We collect personal information. This information may include collecting your name, cat(s) name(s), email address, home address, phone number, required dates, vets details and any information related to your booking or visit. We may also collect information related to conversations about your cat(s).
When submitting an enquiry form we will collect your name and email address. You may submit your telephone number, cat(s) name(s), dates required for booking and any other details. Information submitted via the enquiry form will not be shared and may be used to make contact with you to discuss your potential booking or request.
Any information you provide will be held securely. Your personal details will not normally be disclosed to third parties. In some circumstances however we may need to disclose your personal details to a third party so that they can provide a service you have requested.
We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site use which enables us to improve our service. Our site records your IP address at the time of visiting. When someone visits our website we use a third party service, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone.
How will we use the information about you?
We will use personal information about you for a number of purposes, including:
- to confirm or advise you of any changes with your booking
- to help us administer accounts, services and products which we offer
- to help detect fraud
- to write to you (including electronic mail) or to telephone you (including SMS) with information about our services or products
- We will store your personal information for a maximum of three years after your last communication with us. If you wish to stop hearing from us prior to that time, then email email@example.com.
Access to your information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email or write to us at the following address firstname.lastname@example.org.
We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
